Hey there friends!
I wanted to pop in and wish you a very Merry Christmas!
I know this time of year we can get so caught up in all of the hustle and bustle and feel overwhelmed and stretched to our max.
Something I have learned this past year is to start appreciating everything around me and all that I already have. It has been thru this journey of gratitude that has helped me to focus in on and bring me back to the true meaning of Christmas and what is truly important.
First and foremost, the birth if our Savior, Jesus Christ. The best way to do that is to follow the advice given in this statement:
“If you desire to find the true spirit of Christmas and partake of the sweetness of it, let me make this suggestion to you. During the hurry of the festive occasion of this Christmas season, find time to turn your heart to God. Perhaps in the quiet hours, and in a quiet place, and on your knees—alone or with loved ones—give thanks for the good things that have come to you, and ask that His Spirit might dwell in you as you earnestly strive to serve Him and keep His commandments” – Howard W. Hunter
May we all love more deeply, forgive more easily, show kindness more often and serve others without thought of reward. Not just this time of year but all year long.
I am grateful for my family – for the love and support I get from them. I am grateful for my friends and our wonderful community.
I look forward to what the new year brings.
Again, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas.
